{"id":150,"date":"2025-03-12T15:18:11","date_gmt":"2025-03-12T19:18:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.westbranchtownship.net\/?page_id=150"},"modified":"2026-03-27T16:22:32","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T20:22:32","slug":"elections","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.westbranchtownship.net\/index.php\/elections\/","title":{"rendered":"Elections"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the passage of Proposal 3 in the November 2018 General Election, registered voters can now request an\u00a0Absentee Ballot\u00a0without providing a reason.\u00a0 Under Michigan election law, you are also eligible to be placed on the\u00a0Permanent Absent Voter List.<br \/>\u00a0If you would like to receive an Absent Voter Ballot, send a request with your name and address to admin@westbranchtownship.net.\u00a0 You will be sent an Absent Voter Application.\u00a0 You may also fill out an Absent Voter Application through this document: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westbranchtownship.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Absentee-Voter-Application-and-Instructions.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Absent Voter Application<\/a>\u00a0and send it to the Clerk by mail (PO Box 56 Skandia, MI 49885) or email. \u00a0Remember, you must complete an application before we are able to mail your ballot.\u00a0<br \/>To be included on the Permanent Absent Voter\u2019s List, simply mark the box on the Absent Ballot Application.
